Kevin Wooton has served as a strategic consultant to numerous clients for the past four years. He is owner and principal of Wooton Consulting Group, LLC, providing strategic direction and support in cybersecurity, IT, and intelligence issues across the spectrum of commercial and federal organizations. He is a retired brigadier general of the United States Air Force with nearly 29 years of military service during which time he held various positions culminating in the Principal Deputy Director of Air, Space, and Cyberspace Operations at Air Force Space Command, where he directed most of the Air Force’s communications, cyber, and network policy, budgeting, and defense activities including serving as the Air Force’s Authorizing Official for the Air Force Networks. He also led cyber operations and defense of one of the world’s largest networks as commander of the 67th Network Warfare Wing. Wooton was also Vice Chairman of the Board of the non-profit, Youth Code Jam, dedicated to fostering an interest in technology and computer science in children regardless of background.
